Biography

Shukrya H. Alwan is a Lecturer and biomedical researcher at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Iraq, where she is affiliated with the Community Health Technology department (Polytechnic College of Karbala, Karbala, Iraq). She holds a PhD in Reproductive Physiology from the University of Basrah, an MSc in Medical Physiology from the University of Babylon, and a BSc in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from the University of Karbala. Her research interests span reproductive physiology, polycystic ovarian syndrome, biogenic nanoparticles, cancer biology, tumour biomarkers, and inflammatory cytokine signalling. She has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in internationally indexed journals. Her work integrates experimental animal models, phytochemical approaches, and molecular biology tools to address pressing questions in reproductive medicine and oncology.
