Biography
Holds a high school certificate (Scientific Branch) with an average of 91% from Al-Mu'tasim Secondary School for Girls / Baghdad for the academic year 1983/1984.
Holds a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from the University of Baghdad, graduated in the academic year 1987/1988.
Completed postgraduate studies at the same university, specializing in Internal and Preventive Veterinary Medicine.
My thesis focused on the blood of camels, introducing diagnostic tests that were conducted for the first time on Iraqi camels.
I have completed approximately 33 research papers, including 31 published and 2 accepted for publication, in various fields of medical, biological, and veterinary sciences. These were presented at both local and international scientific conferences and published in Scopus-indexed journals.
Member of the Iraqi Association for the Conservation of Genetic and Environmental Resources.
Member of the Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases Society.
Member of the Palm Environmental and Agricultural Organization.
Member of scientific and preparatory committees in several local and international conferences and environmental scientific festivals.
Recipient of several honorary medals.
Peer reviewer for numerous scientific papers submitted to conferences and scientific journals, and scientific assessor for the Arab Journal of Sciences in the section: The Journal of Agricultural, Environmental and Veterinary Sciences, a Scopus-indexed journal.
Received several letters of appreciation and gratitude from the Honorable Minister of Higher Education, the University President, the Dean, and various associations and organizations.
Participated in many scientific courses, seminars, and workshops as both a lecturer and attendee.
Participated in educational cooperation with the Palm Environmental and Agricultural Organization.
Created several scientific awareness folders addressing various diseases such as hemorrhagic fever, pandemic and seasonal influenza, avian influenza, Ebola, and COVID-19. Some of these folders won awards in scientific awareness folder design competitions.
Actively participated in numerous student volunteer campaigns both within and outside the institute.
