  • عنوان البحث : EFFECT OF GA3 AND ATONIK ON VEGETATIVE GROWTH AND FLOWERING OF CELOSIA CRISTATA

    This study was conducted in the lath house belonging to the Department of Plant Production Techniques, AlMussaib Technical College during the spring season 2018-2019 to study the effect of spraying growth regulator Atonik withfour levels (0, 1, 2, 3) ml.L-1 symbolized by (A0, A1, A2, A3) and gibberellin acid with four levels (0,50, 100, 150) mg.L-1 symbolizedby (G0, G1, G2, G3) on the vegetative and flowering traits of a Celosia cristata plant. A factorial experiment was conductedaccording to the Completely randomized design (CRD) with three replicates, and the averages were compared according tothe least significant difference test (LSD) at the 0.05% probability level. The results showed that the treatment (A1) significantlyexcelled and gave the highest average of leaf area 43.2 cm2, the fresh weight of the vegetable growth 39.3 g, dry weight ofinflorescence 0.98 g and the inflorescence length 6.94 cm. Where treatment A3 gave the highest average of leaves numberreached 47.3 leaf.plant-1 and treatment A2 gave the highest value of flower stalk length 39.79 g and the fresh weight ofinflorescence 6.52 g. The A3 and A2 treatments also significantly excelled and gave the highest values for the vase life (18.67and 18.33 day), as for spraying gibberellin, where the treatment G1 was significantly excelled and gave the highest average fortraits leaf area 37.2 cm2, the fresh weight of the vegetable growth 41.7 g, dry weight of vegetative growth 5.21 g. Theinflorescence length 6.98 cm, while the G2 treatment was also significantly excelled and gave the highest values for traitsflower stalk length 41.25 cm, flower stalk diameter 11.63 mm and The inflorescence diameter 49.5 mm. While the treatment ofA2 + G2 excelled and gave the highest average of flower stalk length and the fresh weight of inflorescence amounted to (44.00cm and 7.20 g).

    The experiment was conducted in the plastic house belonging to Al-Mussaib Technical College, AlFurat Al-Awsat Technical University for the autumn season (2020) and the spring season (2021), to study the effect of bio-fertilizers and spraying with vitamins on the growth and flowering of Iris sp Sapphire Beauty cultivar. The experiment included two factors, the first factor included three levels of bio-fertilizers without addition (control treatment) which is symbolized by (S1), Azotobacter SPP bacteria which is symbolized by (S2), and Bacillus spp bacteria which is symbolized by (S3). As for the second factor, it included spraying with vitamins at three levels, without spraying (control treatment) which is symbolized by (F1), spraying with ascorbic acid at a concentration of (200 mg.L-1 ) which is symbolized by (F2), and spraying with thiamine at a concentration of (200 mg.L-1 ) which is symbolized by (F3). The factorial experiment was conducted according to the Randomized Complete Blocks Design (R.C.B.D) with three replicates and the averages were compared according to the least significant difference (L.S.D) test under the probability level of 5%, and the results were as follows: The results showed that Azotobacter (S2) treatment was significantly excelled on the rest of the other treatments by giving it the highest average Plant height 75.49 cm, Leaves area 1160.42cm 2 , Number of flowers 2.57 flower.plant-1 , Flower diameter 110.18 mm, Vase Life 10.73 Day,the spraying treatment with ascorbic acid at a concentration of (200 mg.L-1 ) was significantly excelled on the rest of the other treatments by giving it the highest values for the traits of Plant height 69.43cm, Leaves area 971.26cm 2 , Number of flowers 2.38 flower.plant-1 , Flower diameter 101.54 mm, Vase Life 10.22 Day.The bi- interaction treatment consisting of (Azotobacter bacteria + spraying with ascorbic at a concentration of (200 mg.L-1 ) has excelled on Plant height 79.45cm, Leaves area 1218.96 cm 2 , Number of flowers 3.62 flower.plant-1 , Flower diameter 117.70 mm, Vase Life 11.42 Day

  • عنوان البحث : Effect of zeolites and bio fertilizers on the growth of Rosa hybrid L

    The experiment was conducted in the lathhouse of the Department of Plant Production Techniques / AlMussaib Technical College for the autumn season of 2021 and the spring season of 2022 to study the effect of zeolite and bio- inoculum on the growth of Rosa hybrid plant. It used plastic pots with a capacity of 27 cm filled with an agricultural medium consisting of (river soil + zeolite at different levels). The experiment included two factors, the first factor included four levels of zeolite without addition (the control treatment), adding (3 , 6 9)g.kg-1 .soil. As for the second factor, it included two levels of (Bio-healthWSG) water-soluble, organic vaccine without addition, adding 0.02 ml/liter. The results showed that the addition of zeolite had a significant effect on the studied traits . The addition treatment (9 mg. kg-1 ) significantly excelled on the rest of the treatments and gave the highest values for the studied traits, plant height (82.9 cm), number of leaves (48.7 leaves. plant-1 ), intensity of chlorophyll pigment (44.1 spad unit).fresh weight and The percentage of dry matter in the leaves (1.3 g, 0.5%), the content of the leaves of total carbohydrates (12.2 mg. 100 g dry weight-1). Also, the addition of the Bio-health had a clear effect on the traits of vegetative growth. The addition treatment (0.02 ml/L) was significantly excelled on the non-addition (0) and gave the highest values for the studied traits, plant height (74.5 cm).The number of leaves (44.8 leaves. plant-1), intensity of chlorophyll pigment (39.9 spad unit), wet weight and dry weight of the plant (1.2 g, 0.5%), total carbohydrate content of leaves (10.0 mg. 100 g. dry weight-1 ) .The results also indicated that the interaction treatment (Zeolites 9 g/kg + bio-fertilizer 0.02 ml/L) was significantly excelled on all studied traits, plant height (91.6 cm).Number of leaves (50.0 leaves. plant-1 ), intensity of chlorophyll pigment (47.4 spad unit), fresh weight and dry weight of the plant (1.4 g, 0.6%)The content of the leaves of total carbohydrates (12.7 g. dry weight -1 ).
