  • عنوان البحث : IMPACT OF SUPPLEMENTING BLACK SEED AND GINGER POWDER ON PRODUCTIVE AND PHYSIOLOGICAL PERFORMANCE OF PEKINI DUCKLINGS

    Abstract The research had been conducted to investigate the supplementing effect of black seed and Ginger powder on productive and physiological performance of Pekini ducklings. A total number of 64, one day old Pekini duck chicks were used in the experiment. Those chicks were randomly distributed of 4 equal treatments. Four rations were used. T1: control. T2: 0.5 gm\Kg black seed. T3: 0.5 gm\Kg Ginger. T4: 0.25 black seed plus 0.25 gm\Kg Ginger. Results indicated a significant transcendence (P < 0.05) of live body weights of ducks in the fourth treatment during the 6th and 9th week with high transcendence (P < 0.01) during other weeks. Weight gain were significantly transcendent (P < 0.01) in the fourth treatment during the 3rd and 4th week as well as the total weight gain. Feed utilization increased significantly (P < 0.05) in the fourth treatment during the 4th and 9th week. Meanwhile feed utilization increased highly significant (P < 0.01) during the 3rd and 8th week. Feed conversion ratio was improved significantly (P < 0.05) in the treatment during the 5th week. Supplementation of black seed and Ginger blend caused highly significant (P < 0.01) increase of total blood protein with highly significant reduction (P < 0.01) of blood glucose and cholesterol

    Abstract This study was undertaken at the native feilds of the sheep farms in Sadet Al-hindia, Babylon Governorate, over period from December 2017 to March 2018. The aim of this was study the effect of type of birth and sex of lambs on the traits of birth and weaning weight, body dimensions(body length, chest circumference, height at the front and back)in awassi sheep. the results showed that significant superiority (p˂0.05) for twins lambs (40.9cm) on single lambs(39.33cm) in body length at the birth .for the sex of lambs, male lambs has significant superiority (p˂0.05) on female lambs in heightin front (41.03,40.07 cm Respectevly), but the type of birth and sex of lambs had nonsignificant effect of other parameters .

  • عنوان البحث : Relationship of Genetic Polymorphism For CYP19 Gen of Exon 3 With Quantity and Milk Composition in Domestic Female Goats

    Abstract This study was carried out to investigate the effect of the genetic polymorphism of the third exon for CYP19 gene on the quantity and composition of milk in local female goats. Blood samples were collected from female goats in the fields of some breeder in Babil Governorate/ Al-Qasim City. Milk composition were examined in the Public Health Laboratory at Al-Qasim Green University/College of Veterinary Medicine, the genetic bundle of the third axon of the CYP19 gene was isolated, which was 140 bp in size, and its genotyping was determined according to the different nucleotide sequences and their association with the quantity and milk composition in the samples which tested in the Bayolat Laboratory in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate. The proportions of the distribution of the genotypes of the CYP19 gene in a sample of local female goats TT, GG and TG were 33.34%, 26.66 and 40%, respectively. The results showed prevalence of the TG genotype for CYP19 gene in the Iraqi local goats on the pure genotypes TT and GG, which was a highly significant superior (P<0.01) in the percentages of fat, protein, lactose and CFPP, as well as the significant superiority of the mixed genotype significantly on the pure genotype in the percentages of solid non-fat and density. It could be concluded from the current study that the selection of females with TG genotype as source for future generations to obtain a generation selected for the desired traits.   • عنوان البحث : RELATIONSHIP OF CYP19 EXON4 POLYMORPHISM WITH GENITAL HORMONES IN LOCAL AWASSI EWES

    Abstract The aim of this study was to evaluate the polymorphism relationship of CYP19 exon4 gene and its effect on the concentration of estrogen hormone and pregnancy in local Awassi ewes. 50 ewes of the local Awassi sheep were used in the Husayniyah threshold fields located on the Najaf, Karbala road, in Iraq, during a period from September of 2019 to January of 2020. Blood samples from Awassi sheep were used for DNA extraction and detection of CYP19 gene by PCR and serum samples were used for measurement concentration of estrogen and progesterone. The highest concentration in the hormone (16.33 pg/ml), the lowest concentration (9.38 pg/ml), the highest concentration in the hormone pregnancy (0.58 ng/ml) and the lowest concentration (0.13 ng/ml) were isolated . CYP19 gene exon 4 of the 105 bp gene and the identification of genotypes, depending on the neo-sequence The distribution of CYP19 genotypes in local Awassi ewes specimens was 20%, 30% and 50% for TT, TC and CC genotypes respectively. P<0.05) in TT and TC genotypes (15.57,15.46) respectively, compared to CC (14.23), while there was no significant difference between TT and TC genotypes. P<0.05 in genotypes TC (0.47) on TT and CC genotypes (0.32,0.24) while increased pregnancy hormone genetic model TT significant decrease compared to genetic Btrz TC and CC. The current study revealed that the TC genotype of CYP19 gene was prevalent on the TT and CC genotypes of Polymorphism of the CYP19 gene in Exon4

    Abstract: This study was conducted for the purpose of studying the polymorphism relationship of CYP19 exon8 gene and its effect on the concentration of hormonal hormone and pregnancy in local Awassi ewes. The highest and lowest concentration in the hormone (16.33and 9.38pg/ml) and the highest and lowest concentration in the pregnancy hormone (0.58 and 0.13 ng/ml) were isolated. CYP19 gene exon 8 of the 105 bp gene identification of genotypes depend on the neo-sequence. The distribution of CYP19 genotypes in local Awassi ewes specimens was 20, 30 and 50% for TT, TC and CC genotypes respectively. The hormone concentration in TT and TC genotypes (15.57 and 15.46) was more as compared to CC (14.23) while there was no significant difference between TT and TC genotypes. The current study revealed that the TC genotype of CYP19 gene was prevalent on the TT and CC genotypes of polymorphism of the CYP19 gene in Exon8 .
