    ملخص البحث :

    This paper represents an innovative algorithm to estimate optimum placement of Distribution Static Synchronous Compensator (D-STATCOM) in the multi-machine atmosphere. The main reason for the substantial loss of power in distribution devices is the voltage drop across the device. This shows that by increasing the voltage profile of the distributed device the entire loss of power is decreased. D-STATCOM was designed for satisfactory dynamic response and the control gains were normally tuned for trial-and-error method. The problem of tuning the D-STATCOM parameter is transformed into an optimization problem this is resolved by hybrid bacteria foraging and gray wolf optimization algorithm (HBF-GWO).   • عنوان البحث : Separation Enhancement of Power Line Noise-50Hz from ECG Signal by Modified Blind Source Extraction Technique

    The health checking tools represent one of the most important things in the lifestyle for investigative and evaluation of the body. The ECG signals are essentially refer to the function of the heart, several features are extracted from ECG signal may carry significant information about the body health, therefore, it's very important to get pure and clean signals. The interference signal from power line noise represent one of the most significant problem. The power line interference signal has high amplitude with 50 or maybe 60 Hz. The notch filter is used to cut the power line signal from raw ECG signal to reduce the effect of this signal but this method not very acceptable due to cut high range of the raw signal and remove some useful information about original ECG signal, therefore, modified blind source separation technique is presented to separate this signal from mixture ECG signal without effect on the original ECG signal and no needs any reference input to detect or cancel the power line noise signal. Simulated and real ECG data are taken based on MIT-BIH databases for recording different ECG data. The gotten result can be used for medical analysis by the doctor and supportive in discovery numerous defects in the heart.

    ECG machines are noninvasive system used to measure the heartbeat signal. It’s very important to monitor the fetus ECG signals during pregnancy to check the heat activity and to detect any problem early before born, therefore the monitoring of ECG signals have clinical significance and importance. For multi-fetal pregnancy case the classical filtering algorithms are not sufficient to separate the ECG signals between mother and fetal. In this paper the mixture consists of mixing from three ECG signals, the first signal is the mother ECG (M-ECG) signal, second signal the Fetal-1 ECG (F1-ECG), and third signal is the Fetal-2 ECG (F2-ECG), these signals are extracted based on modified blind source extraction (BSE) techniques.

    Abstract: An effective intelligent controller is suggested by mixing the Fractional-Order PID (FOPID) and fast genetic algorithms (FGAs) to improve the output response of DC motor. This controller is named as FGA-FOPID controller, the classical FOPID controllers have numerous benefits in practical implementation of many systems such as DC motor control compared with classical PID controllers, where the output response of the DC motor with FOPID or with classical PID is reasonable, but it’s not satisfaysthe response enhancements. So FGAs is used to slove the problem and to improve the overall output. The suggested work is confirmed by DC motor control system, and then compared with the classical PID and FOPID controllers.

    Abstract- In this work the power system (PS) transient voltage response enhancements have been investigated and studied in details through the following: A complete and modified model of Synchronous Generator (SG) has been introduced, where this model is suitable in studying the transient voltage response of SG. Enhancing the responses of the transient voltage profiles through using a modified novel approach, with new technique (Particle Swarm Optimizing) for the Synchronous Generator Voltage Controller. Hence, instead of using conventional controllers (PID controllers) as an auxiliary voltage controller with the Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) to enhance the transient voltage response, the proposed approach using particle swarm optimization is used to optimize the parameters values of the PID controller (PSO-PIDC). The obtained results give remarkable enhancements in the terminal voltage transient response

    Abstract-This work focuses on the development and evaluation of wind pitch control techniques for a wind turbine equipped use a PMSG, or permanent magnet synchronizing generator. Optimizing the power is the goal. capture and enhance system stability while minimizing harmonic distortion in the generated electrical power. Four different control strategies are investigated: PMSG-LQR, PMSG-LQR-PID, PMSG-PID, and PMSG-PI. The PMSG-LQR control strategy utilizes the Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) to optimize depending on the system, adjust the pitch angle dynamics and control objectives. The PMSG-LQR-PID approach combines LQR utilizing a PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) controller to speed up reaction and regulate output.
