  • عنوان البحث : THE EFFECT OF SPRAYING WITH LIQUID UNIVERSITY FERTILIZER ON SOME GROWTH AND YIELD CHARACTERISTICS OF THREE VARIETIES OF SESAMUM

    A field experiment was carried out to study the effect of spraying with Smad Al-jamah Al-sayl (liquid university fertilizer) on some growth and yield characteristics of three varieties of Sesamum used Randomized complete Block Design (R.C.B.D) by Global experience system with three replicates. The experiment included two factors, the first factor, the concentrations of spraying Smad Al-jamah Al-sayl (liquid university fertilizer) (5.0 and 10) ml. L-1 and its symbols are (T1, T2, T3), while the second factor includes three categories (wdaa, Ishtar and Al-Mahali) and its symbols are (V1, V2, V3). The results showed that the wdaa variety (V1) was superior in plant height, with a weight of 1000 grains. It reached (159.46 cm and 3.93 g), while Al-Mahali variety (V3) outperformed some of the studied traits, including the number of branches.Plant-1 after the first can.cm, the number of can.plant-1, the number of seeds.can-1 gave the highest average (5.12 branch.Plant-1, 35.38 cm, 128.55 and 51.7 seed. can-1). The concentration exceeded 10 ml. L-1 (T3) in all studied traits plant height. cm, number of branch. Plant-1, after the first can.cm, number of cans.Plant-1 , the number of seeds.can and weighing 1000 grain (158.13 cm 4.37 branch.plant-1 34.87 cm, 128.55 can.plant-1 51.7 seed.Plant-1 3.93 g). The results of the double overlap between the cultivars and the concentrations (V, T) showed a significant effect in most of the traits, as the combination V3 and T3 outperformed the number of branches. Plant-1, number of can.plant-1, after the first can.cm and number of seeds.can-1 (5.77 branch.plant-1, 133.83 can.Plant-1, 38.53 cm and 53.97 seed.can) and the combination V1, T3 gave the highest average in the trait. The weight of 1000 grain.g reached (4.13 g), while the combination V2, T3 gave the highest mean in the characteristic of plant height, cm was (161.50 cm).

  • عنوان البحث : THE EFFECTIVENESS OF SOME PLANT EXTRACTS AND BIOLOGICAL CONTROL FUNGI TRICHODERMA HARZIANUM IN CONTROLLING CUCUMBER SEEDLING FALL DISEASE PYTHIUM APHANIDERMATUM

    This study was conducted in order to evaluate the effectiveness of some plant extracts, namely Eucalyptus camaldulensis leaf extract and Cinnamomumzy lanicum extract (cinnamon). At concentrations of (0.5, 1.0 and 1.5) % (w/v) and the filtrate of the bio-control fungus Trichoderma harzianum at concentrations of (50, 75 and 100) % (w/v) in controlling the cucumber dropping off disease caused by the fungus Pythium aphanidermatum under laboratory and greenhouse conditions. The results showed the effectiveness of the bio-control fungus T. harzianum filtrate in inhibiting the growth of the fungus p. aphanidermatum in vitro" by increasing the concentrations used where the 100% concentration treatment achieved the highest rate of inhibition of the growth of pathogenic fungi, where the percentage of inhibition was 98.75%, and the concentration treatment 1.5% achieved the highest rate of 89.21 and 58.39% for the extracts of eucalyptus leaves and the study plant in inhibiting the growth of the fungus p. aphanidermatumrespectively.The results of the study, under greenhouse conditions, showed the excelled of the treatment of the biocontrol fungus T. harzianum infiltrate in reducing the infection rate of the pathogenic fungus P. aphanidermatum and the percentage of healthy plants growing in soil contaminated with pathogenic fungus and treated with fungus filtrate after 7 and 30 days exelled on the treatment of soil contaminated with pathogenic fungus and treatment with plant extracts (eucalyptus leaves and cinnamon plant extract) The following rates were achieved (77.97 and 74.57% for the fungus filtrate treatments, 66.33 and 63.53% for the eucalyptus leaf extract and 53.70 and 52.27% for the cultivar extract for the periods 7 and 30 days, respectively. These results indicate the possibility of using some plant extracts and control elements Bio control to chemical pesticides in the management of cucumber seedling dampping fall disease pathogens.

  • عنوان البحث : .EFFECT OF SPRAYING DIFFERENT CONCENTRATIONS OF FOLIAR NUTRIENT (AL-NIBRAS) ON GROWTH AND YIELD OF VICIA FABA L.

    The research was conducted during the winter season 2017-2018 in the experimental field of the Musayyib Technical Institute to study the effect of the number of sprays and different levels of the foliar nutrient (0.0, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 3.0 cm3.L1) on the growth and yield of the broad bean plant, using Randomized complete block design with four replicates. The results showed a significant effect of the alnibras foliar nutrient and spraying in all studied traits, the highest average of plant height was 106.1 cm, number of branches 8.65, number of leaves 110.1, leaf area 277.3 dm2, number of flowers 99.34 and percentage of set 96.1%, which was achieved when interaction using spraying three times and alnibras at the level of 3.0 cm3.L-1. The interaction also had a positive effect on the amount of yield and other studied traits. The highest average was the number of pods/plant, length of pod (cm), pod weight (gm), number of seeds/pod, yield per plant (kg), early yield (kg) and total yield (kg). They reached (51.76, 24.68 cm, 18.98 g, 7.73, 982.4 g, 36,441 kg and 1886,2 kg), respectively. In comparison to the average number of pods/plant, length of pod (cm), pod weight (gm), number of seeds/pod, quantity of yield per plant (gm), early yield (kg) and total yield (kg) amounted to (8.81, 11.65 cm, 6.54 g, 3.01), 57.61 g, 12.65 kg and 110.6 kg), respectively for the control treatment.

  • عنوان البحث : Response of some vegetative growth, yield and yield components characters of cotton for Absicic acid spraying under effect of water stress

    Field experiment was carried out in Babylon / AL-Musseib during (2017) season to study the effect of leaves spraying with Multiple ABA concentrations on some characters of vegetative growth and yield of Lashata cotton cultivar under the effect of water stress. Randomized Complete Block Design was used with three replicates according to split plot arrangement. The study included four irrigation periods ( 10,15, 20, 25 days) between each irrigation time ( Main Plots ) while ABA spray concentrations (0,40,80,120) μM occupy the ( Sub plots ). The results showed presence of significant differences in studied characters with ABA spray, So 80 μM of ABA predominate and gave the highest plant height 93.07 cm and vegetative branches number 4.12 branches.plant-1, total boll number 13.35 bolls. Plant-1 , seed cotton yield 34.02 gm. Plant-1, also there is significant differences among irrigation periods, as irrigation treatment each 10 days gave the highest average plant height 91.54 cm , number of sympodial branches 12.77 branch.plant-1 , number of open bolls 12.74 bolls . plant-1, seed number per bolls 24.95 seed.bolls-1 and seed cotton yield 33.75 gm.plant-1. Interaction between irrigation periods and ABA spray concentration had a significant effect on the studied characters whereas irrigation treatment of every 10 days with ABA sprays of 80 micromole concentration

  • عنوان البحث : Response of two cultivars of sunflower( Helianthus annuus L.) to foliar spray of prosol

    This experiment was carried out to find out the response of two sunflower cultivars (hybrid and record )to some level of the prosol the foliar nutrient in the spring season of 2008 in the experimental field of the Tech .Inst. / Musiab. This nutrient contains macro elements (NPK)and some microelements (Fe-Cu-Zn-Mn-and B). The experiment was applied as Factorial in RCBD the first factor was the cultivar and the second was the concentration of the prosol (0-20-30-and 40) gm\100 l water . The results of the trial can be summarized as follow: 1-All characters studied were higher for the hybrid cultivars (plant height-diameter-leaf numberfresh weight and dry weight of the leaf–stems and entire plant –seed number .On the other hand , unfertilized seed trait was higher with the record cultivar. 2-The concentration of prosol 40gm/100 l water resulted in higher means of the traits studied – while 0\100gm/100 l water gave higher mean of unfertilized seed. 3-Hybrid cultivar with 40gm/100 l wat er prosol interaction gave the highest means of all properties studied except the unfertilized seeds .

    The experiment was conducted on the private farm in Al-mussiabMasshroaa regions during Summer seasons 2016 to study the effect of foliar application by 4 concentration of potassium (0, 100,200,300) mgk.L-1 and 4 concentration of calcium (0,50,100,200) mgCa .L-1 and interaction on growth and yield of green gram . Randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications was used .The results showed that the level 200 mg K.L-1 giving the highest average height plant , plant dry weight ,pods number ,seed number and seeds yield for plantwhile dominance the concentration 100mg K.L-1 on the seed 1000 weight character, Casprayed had no significant on seed yield .
