A total of 100 blood samples taken from patients with suspected typhoid fever aged between (1-60) years, were involved in this study. Blood samples were cultured directly on brain heart infusion broth. After that sub cultured of isolates on MacConkey agar and XLD agar and S.S agar to find the Salmonella typhi then identified by the biochemical and antibiotic sensitivity test. Resistant genes were identified by using aacc2 gene and cat gene. Results showed that there was 7 Salmonella typhi isolates from blood culture, as well as, aacc2 gene success in amplification of 450bp fragment for amino glycoside resistant, while not improve amplification for chloramphenicol resistant gene (cat gene) from Salmonella typhi isolates . also our isolates showed sensitivity 100% for ceftriaxone, cefepime, cefazolin, and chloramphenicol, while all isolates were resistant 100% for tetracycline and erythromycin.

Malta fever is one of the most common bacterial zoonosis, its causes abortion of pregnant women. Abortion is the chief obvious manifestation of Brucella infection. Brucella like better cattle placenta as a result of great concentration of erythritol sugar, whereas human placenta there is no erythritol sugar only steroid hormone, for this reason designed the our project . In this study, 100 aborted women were included , where referred to maternity and children hospital of Babylon province \ Iraq. Diagnosis of Brucella infection in these abortions was concentrated on serological and bacteriological technique. Serological studies included the use of RB and ELISA tests. Aggressive differences between RB and ELISA results have been shown. Brucella isolated and identified from aborted placenta and blood samples were 7 (7%) isolates from aborted women.

This study endeavors to appraise invulnerable particles CD45, CD74, cytokines TNF- B and IL-8 in patients infected with hepatitis B virus. An aggregate of (150) seropositive serum samples from patients infected with hepatitis B virus (HBV). Serum samples tested by ELISA assay to evaluate the concentration of cytokines and immune marks. Results showed that acute cases of disease express high level of cytokine and immune marks as compared with chronic and asymptomatic infection. Our study provided that acute hepatitis B Virus Infection causes high Immunological changes as compare with asymptomatic disease.

Study aimed to show the effect of inflammatory mediators ( IL-6 and gamma interferon) and molecules CD54 & CD2 in patients infected with COVID-19 A overall of (100) positive patients for COVID-19 were selected for project .Patients attended general lab. With sings of COVID-19 then select to expression 0f gamma interferon & IL-6 in serum of patient and indication expression of CD54 and CD2in serum of patients. Results indicated that gamma interferon & IL-6 highly important increases (p<0.001) in serum level of covid- 19 patients as matched with healthy control groups , acute covid 19 exposed great as well as , rises in serum near of gamma interferon & IL-6 pointedly(p<0.001) ,although modest cases of disease show great proliferation in serum level of IL-6 expressively(p<0.001).immune molecules showed more expression of CD2 & CD54 in covid- 19 patients as matched with healthy normal groups.

Listeria monocytogenes is a feebly pathogenic, Gram-positive bacterium and ready to develop additionally at the temperature of 4 C. A man frequently gets influenced by expending tainted water and food. 150 aborted placentas were achieved from women and cultured directly, while other were fixed in formalin buffer to study the effect of CD 45 and CD74 in pathogenesis of Listeria monocytogenes associated with placentitis in aborted women. Results showed six placental samples from out 50 were positive for listeria culture, were exhibited high expression of CD 45 and CD74 aborted placenta infected with Listeria monocytogenes as a compared to uninfected placenta. This study concluded that a relationship between inflammatory response and pathology of L. monocytogenes in placental tissue that were collected from aborted women in Al- Muthana City.
