PhD Metabolic Biochemistry 2019 Newcastle University, Uk MSc Medical Laboratory Technique 2009 BSc Medical Laboratory Technique 2000 I have been graduated from Newcastle University, Institute of Cellular Medicine, The medical school. I did my PhD training at Prof. Agius s Lab 2015-2019 on metformin mechanism in hepatocytes. My thesis title was The Molecular Mechanism by which Metformin Inhibits gluconeogenesis. I am interesting in glucose metabolism in the liver, Non-alcoholic liver fatty acid (NAFLD), and Recently, I am focusing on the effects of the novel Corona virus SARS-CoV-2 on the Liver .
